South Africa’s bowling unit, especially Marco Jansen and Kagiso Rabada, wreak havoc against Afghanistan in the first semi-final of the 2024 T20 World Cup.

Notably, Rashid Khan won the toss in this match at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinidad and elected to bat first.

The Afghan team management had hoped that their openers would give them another steady start and provide the platform for a total that would test the South Africans. But that did not happen as Marco Jansen and Kagiso Rabada made light work of the Afghan batting line-up.

Rabada leaves Zadran speechless

On the first delivery of the fourth over, Kagiso Rabada bowled a beauty that left Ibrahim Zadran stunned. It was a good length delivery on the outside and in the middle and he got back in.

Zadran tried to defend the ball from the crease, but that left a huge gap between his bat and the pads. The ball clattered into center and leg stump, ending Zadran’s brief stay in the middle.
