OG Anunoby signs a five-year Knicks contract worth $212.5 million

It appears the Knicks will keep one of their most important pieces.

OG Anunoby “plans” to sign a five-year, $212.5 million contract to remain with the Knicks, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported.

The ESPN NBA insider said discussions have been ongoing between the Knicks and Anunoby’s agent in recent days.

Anunoby opted out of his contract earlier this week to become a free agent, but he won’t hit the open market now as the Knicks have retained one of their best defensive players.
