Nicolas Claxton signs extension with Brooklyn – NBA News

20 seconds agoAccording to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Brooklyn Nets center Nicolas Claxton plans to sign a four-year contract worth $100 million to remain with the team. The Nets are on the road to rebuilding. However, Claxton remains a crucial part of the Nets’ long-term plans. He played at least 71 games over the past two seasons and finished the 2023-2024 season averaging 11.8 points, 9.9 rebounds and 2.1 blocks while shooting 62.9% from the field. It’s fair to assume the 25-year-old will improve, especially in the scoring department, if Brooklyn can’t land a reliable scorer to replace Mikal Bridges, who was traded to the Knicks on Tuesday night.Dennis Clausen-RotoBaller
