Colorado Mammoth Press Release

DENVER – The Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) announced today that the organization has signed defenseman Noah Lebar to a one-year contract, effective through the upcoming 2024-25 season.

The Kitchener, Ontario native was originally drafted by Colorado in the sixth round (83rd overall) of the 2021 NLL Entry Draft and will enter his fourth season with the Mammoth this fall.

Lebar played in just two games during the 2023–24 season after spending most of the season on the injured list recovering from a lower-body injury. He threw two loose balls and was given two penalty minutes in limited playing time at the end of the season.

After spending the 2022 season on the team’s practice player roster, the 6-3, 225-lb. prospect made his Burgundy debut in his second professional try, ultimately recording fourteen loose balls, one of which resulted in a turnover and four penalty minutes in nine games played during the 2023 season.

He currently plays baseball north of the border in the summers under Mammoth Offensive Coordinator Jason Bishop and with his Colorado teammates Tyson Gibson, Sean Kriwokon and Owen Down, logging as many reps as possible while also contributing to Bishop’s New Westminster Salmonbellies of the Western Lacrosse Association (WLA).

Mammoth fans can follow and Colorado Mammoth social media all summer long as the team continues to build its roster for the upcoming 2024-2025 NLL season.

And with the 2024 NLL Entry Draft quickly approaching this fall, there are plenty of reasons to stay tuned to the burgundy and black squad!
