In loving memory of Curtis F. Whited

Curtis F. Whited passed away peacefully at the age of 79, on May 31, 2024 at St. Joseph Hospital in Tacoma.

Born February 1, 1945, in Grundy, Virginia, to Emery and Delphia (Mullins) Whited, Curtis was the youngest of four children. The family moved to Raymond, WA shortly after Curtis was born.

Curtis graduated from Raymond High School in 1964 and later became a Vietnam veteran after serving in the U.S. Army. He married Kathy Boggs on March 25, 1972. Two years later, Curtis became a proud father with the birth of their son Jason. Curtis was a retired factory worker. His younger days were filled with bowling, sturgeon fishing and loving his family.

Curtis is survived by his wife, Kathy, at the family home in Raymond; their son, Jason, of Rochester, WA; and two granddaughters, Eden Martinez of Lacey, WA, and Eris Whited of Rochester, WA. He is also survived by his brother Delmer and sister Freda Stallard, both of Raymond.

A Celebration of Life potluck will be held at the Hungry Heifer Diner in Raymond on Saturday, June 29 at 2 p.m.
