Gilman provides an update on La Crosse’s 65-acre, $300 million River Point development

Jason Gilman joins us to discuss where La Crosse stands with the 65-acre, $300 million River Point District development, the impact it will have on the community and which giant kiosk was denied access.

La Crosse Talk PM airs weekdays at 5:06 p.m. Listen on the WIZM app, online here, or on 92.3 FM / 1410 AM / 106.7 FM (north of Onalaska). Find all the podcasts here or subscribe to La Crosse Talk PM wherever you get your podcasts.

Gilman, owner of JBG Planning LLC, is in his second year as project manager of the district he calls “The Gateway to Downtown.”

Gilman discusses how much of the development will be residential versus commercial, how much of that could be rental versus ownership, plus what some of the undeveloped space will look like.

River Point District was the old Mobil Oil site just north of downtown La Crosse, which had been idle for decades due to various challenges, including environmental cleanup.
