Argentina record at Copa America: how many titles have they won?

Argentina ended their long wait for a Copa America title in 2021 as Lionel Messi finally lifted the trophy as captain in Rio de Janeiro.

Success for Messi came from years of frustration and eventual losses as the former Barcelona superstar finally won a major international title with La Albiceleste.

That victory was somewhat overshadowed by their stunning victory at the 2022 World Cup, but Argentina are among the favorites to lift the trophy again in the United States in 2024.

The Sports News looks at Argentina’s historical record at the Copa America, including titles won, matches and player records.
